Site Challenges
The site is located at a busy four-way junction, so to avoid disruption and maintain public safety, a robust traffic management strategy was essential.
Additionally, poor carriageway construction posed a technical hurdle which required extensive liaisons with the local authority. To ensure the long-term durability of the new carriageway, a full-width concrete pad was required to achieve the structural integrity. By coordinating closely with the local authority, and keeping residents informed throughout, our team was able to deliver the scheme efficiently, within the road closure allocation and achieved maintenance.

“‘I recently had the pleasure of working with Vista Civil Engineering on a challenging Section 278 project, and I must say that their level of expertise and service is second to none. From the initial consultation to the project's completion, their team demonstrated a remarkable commitment to delivering exceptional results.
The project involved the implementation of Section 278 works to a legacy residential estate. Vista were not only highly knowledgeable but also displayed a deep understanding of highway adoption works. Their ability to navigate the con-straints of the project ensured that the works were completed smoothly.
Throughout the project, the team maintained clear and open lines of communication. They were responsive to our questions and concerns and provided regular updates on the project's progress.
The completed highway works met our expectations in terms of functionality, safety, and durability. It's evident that Vista takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering projects that stand the test of time.
I highly recommend Vista to anyone seeking a company that combines exceptional expertise, transparent communica-tion, and a commitment to sustainable and high-quality Section 278 delivery. I look forward to working with them again in the future.”
